The manifest Allan Kardec has as a main goal to retrieve the spiritualism memory in its birthplace, France.
In order to make this dream come true we launched a global campaign with the aim to transform the apartment where Allan Kardec lived with Amélie Gabrielle Boudet, his wife, in Paris, the place of the Spiritism memory. In this place, 8 rue des Martyrs, he drew the first lines of this major work, ''The Spirits’ Book’’, and organized the Spiritist Codification. It was there also where the first contact between him and the Spirit of Truth took place!
We expressed this desire in a letter, mailed through the local post office and addressed to Mr. Mayor of Paris, containing a petition for reserving this place, so that the spiritualist community will benefit from the cultural heritage representing this thinker, writer, scientist of the nineteenth century. It is with him and through him that any order of ideas and proposals has been created, which, besides the re-meaning of life, saves humanity from its ecological and social despair, and helps in their intense quest for happiness.
As the Way of St. James, we hope that the Rue des Martyrs, scenario of the creation of relived Christianity, will be added to the routes of public visitations, allowing these people to feel the closeness of a social reality that conveys an important message, a dream, a path.
